Out of Death into Life
I work in a pharmacy. At the end of March, the husband of one of my colleagues caught the novel coronavirus, His two brothers, who worked with him, got infected one after the other and were admitted into the Intensive Care Unit with respirators.
Recently I heard that her husband’s older brother passed away because of the disease. It is said that the brothers had been very close, but now they are separated forever.
This made me very sad, because when I learned that the three brothers were all infected and hospitalized, I called my colleague and prayed for their whole family.
Who could have known that after only a week, the older brother was gone…. I wonder if he was saved or not?
Many people might wonder why Christians care so much about other people’s salvation. Although everyone knows that death awaits us all; not many people know that after death there is judgment.
The Lord Jesus says, “Truly, truly, I say to you, He who hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life, and does not come into judgement but has passed out of death into life.”
Dear friends, do you choose life or judgement? As long as you believe into the Lord Jesus, you will have eternal life, and no longer need to fear death and the coming judgement.
Are you willing to receive this life-giving Lord? Just simply call, “O Lord Jesus!” You will receive His eternal life, and will not come into judgement but has passed out of death into life.
