Getting Out of the Chaotic Rush
According to the latest reports, now the entire USA is under the restrictions of “stay-at-home” orders. The “Stay-at-home” orders have disrupted the living routines of many people.
Some people who have always been busy, suddenly have a lot of free time, and are at a loss of what to do, having fallen into a state of anxiety;
Some people finally have time to get together with family members. However, for the whole family to get along for 24 hours together can be easy but also difficult at times.
This major change in people’s lives has everyone reevaluating their life values and priorities. Must we be this busy?
What have we gained with such a busy lifestyle? And what have we lost?
The Bible says: “For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul-life?”
Dear friends, it is said that in our lifetime we can use time to gain what we think is of value. Some people use time to gain knowledge, some for status, some for wealth, and some for fame.
Let’s not consider whether it’s possible to gain something or not, for even if you gain the whole world, if you forfeit yourself—your own life, your own health, your own family members, your own conscience, etc.—what good is it?
When this world uses a busy schedule and anxiety to consume and devour our life, God is willing to give us life. He said, “I have come that they may have life and may have it abundantly.”
The life that God gives is not mere physical health or psychological abundance; but much more the divine life which gives people everlasting value, eternal peace, joy and satisfaction.
Dear friend, in this tumultuous and unstable time, we truly wish that you will gain God’s life – a life that never fails.
